FCI, Global Representative Body for Factoring and Financing of Open Account Domestic and International Trade Receivables, in partnership with EBRD and the Croatian Chamber of Economy, has organised the Trade and Receivables Finance Summit in CEE, that took place on 7-8 March 2023 in Zagreb, focusing on Central and South-Eastern Europe.
Leading industry professionals from around the region were gathering to discuss business and regulatory developments, the state of the economy in the region, Islamic International Factoring, the receivables finance industry in 2023 & beyond, as well as the digital evolution and the impact of ESG on the industry.

The round table on the topic of Understanding the Opportunities of Digitalisation was particularly interesting, where Federico Avellan Borgmeyer, Chief Partner Officer from Efcom, participated in a conversation about the digital future and what role the attitude of the top management of organizations, government at the national level, competition, which comes from Fintech companies and, finally, customers and end users, especially younger ones.
Efcom also presented its latest efX ecosystem in the themed lecture New Technologies enabling business development in Supply Chain Finance.
